Abstract

Realization of recently theoretically introduced DB material layer, based on the arrangement of SRRs and CSRRs located in the same plane, is proposed in this paper. The results of full-wave numerical simulation revealed vanishing of the normal components of homogenized D and B vectors, which is an unique property of a DB medium.
