Source transformations using superellipse equations

Abstract
Semi-analytic formulations based on transformation optics using superellipse equations are used to transform spaces containing source distributions. Finite-element full-wave simulations of the transformations from a dipole to a circular, diamond-shaped, and flattened cylinder are presented. The radiation pattern of the dipole seen by an outside observer is replicated in all cases.
